Gastec Testing Services LLC provides Independent, Testing & Validation services for the healthcare industry. This relates to the purity, quality and identity testing of the Medical quality gases including surgical air , dental air and medical vacuum terminal units (TU’s) or outlets at clinics/hospitals, where required, following guidance given in HTM02-01:2006, EP2009 and EN7396-1:2007.

Medical / Surgical Air Plant Testing & Certification
The Quality of Medical / Surgical Air plant test point should complied with the requirements of HTM2022, HTM02 and European Pharmacopoeia during the time of testing.

Quarterly Air Plant Testing
Medical air Plant in the Hospitals should be Certified or Tested for QC (MGPS) minimum once every three months.
Medical Gas Terminal Units Tests as follows
- Medical Gas Terminal Units tested for Identity of Gases
- Medical Gas Terminal Units tested for Particulate Contaminants
- Medical Gas Terminal Units tested for odur / taste
- Medical Gas Terminal Units tested to check whether it is in European Pharmacopoeia limits or not for Oxygen, Carbon dioxide, Carbon monoxide, Nitrous oxides.
- Medical Gas Terminal Units tested for Moisture or water content
- Oil levels are measured using detector tubes and a flow of gas is passed through the reagent tube.
- At the conclusion of the identity, purity and quality, testing in a hospital, a report is prepared containing results, other observations and constructive comments will be distributed.
